The founding partners acquire a regulated private equity fund manager as a vehicle to raise funds to invest in UK SMEs. The business, subsequently renamed WestBridge, launches with support from the partners, the WestBridge Strategic Investor Group, the EIF and South Yorkshire Pension Authority.
